Pancakes
These pancakes are quick and easy to make, tasty and high in protein.
Ingredients
Curd cheese - 250 g
Twarog from Polish shops
Eggs - 1
Flour - 120 g
Salt - ¼ tsp
(Optional) Sugar - 1 tsp
Jam
Soured cream
Can use creme fraiche instead
Quantity multiplier
Directions
Step 1
Mix curd cheese, egg and salt. Optionally, add some sugar for sweeter pancakes.
Step 2
Keep adding flour and mixing it into mixture until it's no longer wet and starts to stick together.
Step 3
Make a ball out of the mixture, then roll it into a sausage shape. About 6 cm diameter.
Step 4
Cut into equal pieces.
Step 5
Flatten and round each piece. About 1cm thick.
Step 6
Pan fry with a bit of oil until golden brown on each side.
Step 7
Serve with jam and/or soured cream.
