Cheesy Harissa Naanizza
Ingredients
Plain naan - 2
Onion - 1
Pepper - 1
Red bell pepper
Cheddar cheese - 70 g
Garlic - 3
Cloves
Sauce
Harissa paste - 50 g
Tomato puree - 30 g
Water - 1 tbsp
Quantity multiplier
Directions
Step 1
Peel and thinly slice onion.
Step 2
Chop garlic
Step 3
Thinly slice pepper
Step 4
Stir fry onion and pepper until softened, 5-6 mins. Add salt and pepper. Add garlic and fry for one more minute.
Step 5
In a bowl, combine tomato puree, harissa paste and water (see ingredients for amount). Add salt and pepper.
Step 6
Grate the cheese onto the naans, then evenly spread harissa sauce.
Step 7
Top each naannizza with fried onions and peppers.
Step 8
Bake in pre-heated oven for 6-7 mins at 220 C.
