Dough Biscuits
My mum's recipe. She calls them "Audra" biscuits.
Ingredients
Butter - 250 g
Sour cream - 380 g
Flour - 3 cup
Salt - ½ tsp
Sugar - 5 tsp
Egg - 1
Quantity multiplier
Directions
Step 1
Run the flour through sieve
Step 2
Add salt
Step 3
Grate butter
Step 4
Keep grating until consistent
Step 5
Add sour cream
Step 6
Work the dough with hands into a ball for a few minutes
Step 7
Allow the dough to rest for 1 hour in the fridge
Step 8
Split the dough into smaller portions if needed
Step 9
Roll out the dough to about half cm thickness.
Step 10
Fold the dough in half and roll it out again. Repeat 3 times.
Step 11
Cut the dough into rectangular shapes
Step 12
Place on baking tray and cover with egg wash.

Sprinkle sugar on each biscuit

Bake at 170 C (with fan) until cooked for about 35 minutes.
