Light and Airy Apple Pie
An easy-to-make apple pie with a light, airy texture.
Ingredients
Egg - 3
Large
Sugar - 180 g
Flour - 150 g
Apple - 3
Large
Vanilla extract - 1 tsp
Cinnamon - 1 tsp
Baking powder - 1 tsp
Butter - 1 tbsp

Directions
Step 1
Line tray with baking paper and spread a thin layer of butter over it, including sides.
Step 2
Peel and slice apples into the tray.
Step 3
Sprinkle cinnamon on apples.
Step 4
Start whipping eggs with a mixer, gradually adding sugar.
Step 5
Keep whipping egg and sugar mixture for 5-7 minutes until light and airy.
Step 6
Run the flour through sieve.
Step 7
Mix flour, baking powder and vanilla in a bowl.
Step 8
Add flour mixture into egg and sugar mixture and mix on low speed. Do not overstir.
Step 9
Pour the mixture into the tray over apples.
Step 10
Gently stir and nudge the apple slices with a spatula so the thick mixture flows down, fills the gaps, and evenly coats everything.
Step 11
Bake in pre-heated oven at 180 C for 45 minutes.
